QUEENS PARK BRIDGE SURVEY

Member for Western Victoria, Beverley McArthur has enabled interested residents and road users in the Queens Park Bridge area to participate in her online survey about the famous Queens Park Bridge which recently was out of action due to a truck incident. The survey provides constituents with the following options:
I support a new two lane Queens Park Bridge for road traffic while at the same time retaining the existing bridge for pedestrians, cyclists and heritage value.
I support the retention of the old bridge and it being signalized to improve traffic flow.
I support a new Queens Park Bridge and the removal of the old bridge.
I do not support a new Queens Park Bridge.
“I believe it’s important for the community to express a view on this iconic piece of road infrastructure which has served the area well over a long period of time but with the growing population may need further transport options.”
